Up and Down season for nfinity eSports V8 Racing Team

The Battle for the iRacing.com V8 Supercar championship by Bigpond started the same way it ended last season when Mitchell McLeod, Rens Broekman and reigning champion Madison Down from Trans Tasman Racing Team put on the boxing gloves for season 3 in 2011.

nfinity eSports Racing had strengthened the squad this season to include last season's runner-up, Dutchman Rens Broekman and Aussie Scott U'Ren as Mitchell looked to reclaim his lost V8 crown.   The team started the season in dominating style claiming most of the victories and it looked like all was going to plan,  but TTR's Madison slowly started to gather pace as the season progressed. The battle got intense at the midway point with Mitchell, Rens, Scottie and real V8 Drivers Scott Mclaughlin and Shane Van Gisbergen all gunning for the honours.

Mitchell claimed the runner up spot in the final standings followed closely by Rens Broekman in third,  Scottie U'Ren had a successful campaign to finish behind his teammates in 4th which was an big improvement on last season.

Sadly we lost the awesome talents of young Scott Andrews after the opening rounds due to his Formula Ford duties in the ELF Racing Team in Australia,  taking many victories including the clean sweap in the last round on October 14th.

Next Season will see nfinity eSports racing running a special two man team in the Tatts Lotto V8 Falcons, with Mitchell McLeod and Scottie U'Ren donning the special Tatts Lotto Liveries, aswell as our other regular V8 drivers along with new team sponsor Bigpond.

Mitchell, Rens, Scott and Scottie would like to send special thanks to nfinity eSports racing and its sponsors Bigpond, Diabloskinz, TserverHQ and Jakacom for their support thoughout the season.
